September 22, 2010What Would Jesus Do?
I hear that phrase quite often, surprisingly more by those who have absolutely no idea who He was.
Would Jesus wear jeans to Church? If that was what the people were wearing, sure.
Would he have a glass of wine with His dinner? Absolutely as proved by scripture: Mat 11:19 The Son of man came eating and drinking, and they say, Behold a man gluttonous, and a winebibber, a friend of publicans and sinners. But wisdom is justified of her children.
Would he be speaking to the sinners? Also yes as shown in the same scripture.
Would He endorse a Mosque to be built anywhere?
Absolutely—NOT!
Before you all get your knickers in a twist, let?s examine the scriptures and before we do, this is only for those who profess to be Christians.
A Christian is not someone who makes their own rules. A Christian is one who believes in Jesus as Lord and Saviour and attempts to follow Him. I say attempts as none is perfect but even when you fail; you get up and continue on His path.
Jesus said: ?Joh 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.?
This is straight talk. Here is another: Mar 16:15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.
Mar16:16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.
I can give you scripture all day but I believe the point is made already.
Our Christian faith tells us that there is no other way to have eternal life and all those who do not believe are damned.
For Jesus to advocate a mosque would be against who He is and what is true.
Contrary to opinions like ?there are many roads to heaven? (Never get directions from that person) or ?God is love and all will be saved? which is another man made belief, the Bible tells us otherwise.
It?s true,we are not in the Old Testament times where the Israelites were told to go in and wipe the heathen out. We have no great King who will rise to power and throw down all the false
places of worship. Yet those of us who are truly Christian do not support the building ofpagan temples.
As our American forefathers guaranteed freedom of religion which was based only in Christianity, we also should recognize that our rights surely will be taken away if we continue to allow those who do not agree with Christian beliefs, into this Country.
Do you for a moment think that our founders looked to have mosques and other false places of worship? Of course not, that would be against our beliefs. By the way, Christians get to have their own beliefs also.
For all those liberals and non-believers I ask you this. Do you want Sharia law to be foisted upon you and your grandchildren? If you disregard this writing then you will welcome Sharia.
Why? Because Muslims all over the world have 8 children to our one and the time will come in this ?free? Country that you are out voted and now you have what you tried to protect.
In Muslim Countries they know not to give freedoms because they want to keep their way of life.
In our country we want to give freedom so we can lose our way of life.
