There are those that believe in Separation, so much so that they are afraid to use anything promoted or used by a non-Christian.

I quoted something by Leonard Ravenhill one time an someone gave me the long story about how he was not one of us. I never checked it out but I understand. Christians want to be careful they are not promoting infidels among the rank and file.

I do get it. But I don’t go along with it.

One of the quotes that I like is “Life is what happens when you are busy making other plans.” Although I heard someone else coined that phrase it has been ascribed as of late to John Lennon.

What if the guy who invented it was a Christian? OR, does it become bad because John Lennon said it?

I love the color purple and back in the States in winter, I loved my purple flannel shirt. Then I hear the homosexuals are wearing flannel and one of the colors of choice is purple. What does that mean? I think it means they have good taste. I don’t think it makes me a homosexual or one who endorses homosexuality. I also enjoy Tchaikovsky, a known Homosexual. Should I not listen to his music?

The Bible talks about reasoning and being reasonable. Are we reasonable when we are told not to use something because a non Christian uses it?

Truth is truth no matter who uses it and a lie is a lie even if told by the most disciplined Christian.

Let’s not get bogged down in these little worthless quarrels that mean nothing. Let’s go out and tell a dying world about the hope they can have in Jesus!
