THREE BAPTISMS!

October, for me is a bit sad. It was my Father’s birthday and his
and Mom’s anniversary. It was the month my late wife went to glory and
it reminds me of my sister passing way too soon.

However I am encouraged by these words:
Mar 10:28  Then Peter began to say unto him, Lo, we have left all, and have followed thee.
Mar 10:29  And Jesus answered and said, Verily I say unto you,
There is no man that hath left house, or brethren, or sisters, or
father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my sake, and the
gospel’s,
Mar 10:30  But he shall receive an hundredfold now in this time,
houses, and brethren, and sisters, and mothers, and children, and lands,
with persecutions; and in the world to come eternal life.

When we came here we gave so much stuff away never to see it or
the people who received it, again. Every object of our past was gone.
All was left were memories. Good and bad.

Yet it also makes me happy. That we were willing to forsake all to serve God and we haven’t been disappointed yet.

We do it in silence as we see on FaceBook things like, Share this
if you think teachers are the best-or nurses-or veterans but I have
never seen one that speaks about those who left it all.

That does not mean you need to be a missionary but it does beg the
question, when you received Christ as your Saviour, did you leave it
all ?

Or are the priorities in your life have only to do with self pleasing?

Do you wake up in the morning realizing that God is there with
you? Do you greet Him and study His word and pray or do you wait untill
the evening and fall asleep while doing so?

Do you inquire of God how you might serve Him each day? How you
might make a difference? What kind of legacy you will leave behind?

As the time draws nearer I do not cease to think of my life in
Christ. It is my main focus. It is what fills my heart and makes me
happy.

I have never regretted leaving it all behind.

The cross before me, the world behind me…

PASTOR APPRECIATION DAY!

 

Flanked by my two Associate Pastors,(Pastor Ben left Pastor Bong Right) ,
we are all grateful for our wonderful Church.

what a wonderful feeling to have the little ones show their love in song.

Although I am a bit embarrassed by it, it is such a blessing to
hear all the adults get up and with tears on their faces, give account
for what this Church and their Pastors mean to them. Thank you Lord.

Please pray for our annual Christmas celebration for 100 poor kids in Payatas Dec.12th
We need to raise $1500 which fortunately, is $500 less than last year.

Care to help Feed a Child?

We never cease to pray for all of you. Our home Church and the
people there, Our friends and family around the world and our dear
supporters who love this ministry and what it does and sacrifice to give
the best they are able.I will never say it is your doing that we
survive because we both know it is God. I will say is has been a gift
from God that He has used you to supply our need. Over the years we have
lost and gained supporters. The sad part was not the loss of money (we
are still here) but when we lost contact with them as friends. We have  a
love for our supporters. There are some who have not even made
themselves known to us but we still share that bond and pray for them.
