Daffodils, Crocus’ and other Spring Flowers
There are many times in my life where a seasonal change has made all the difference. Coming out of my house when the sun was beginning to make the town warm, seeing the spring flowers opening their faces to the sun, gave out a feeling of newness and warmth. It was the promise of new beginnings , a chance to be “born again”. God offers a “New Beginning” to all. A chance to dismiss the evil before us and to embrace the forgiveness of God. As the sunlight enters our hearts it is a opportunity to respond to that light and to accept that goodness and forgiveness that God offers and to share it with others..
Box Ministry My wife called it the Box Ministry from the beginning. I have said it is misleading as we do not give boxes but receive them. I have come to know they are a little of both.
 We started getting boxes from the U.S. and Canada. They consisted of things we really needed. Medicines, toiletries, canned good and clothes. As we started to give thanks for all of this, people in the Philippines and other places started to send things, mostly clothes. As we received, we gave, We would go to a local venue and give out the things they all needed. So it is a genuine Box ministry and we encourage you to give what you would find as a blessing if you were low on funds. We received a refrigerator which we placed in a home the Church has for a couple of our college students. We also received a large living room set. We had no need for such a gift but one of our neighbors saw it and got it. Ou friends in Canada sent three boxes! Thank you Lord for all your blessings.
