It’s been 18 years but I’m back. I never thought I would see California again but God had other plans.

As many know but for those who didn’t, I was diagnosed in the Philippines with heart failure and it was suggested that I return to the United States for treatment.
The operation was free but it is very expnsive to travel back and forth, especially because I need to go in business class with my other medical conditions.
My good frinds and supporters rallied and paid my way here in which I am eternally Grateful to them and know that God will reward them for their generosity.
i did not know the extent of my problems but upon arriving they gave me an angioplasty an determined that I had 5 blockages. As I was having chest pains they immediately put me ahead of other patients and dove right in.

I don’t want to tell you how invasive this surgergy is but look up bypass surgery on utube and you will get an eyeful.
My father who was the nicest man I have evr know had surgery and for ten days he was depressed, grumpy and nasty. I prayed to God and asked him to let me take the pain and let me be the best patient that they ever had. I wanted to be an example of God’s grace. Well, when I woke up out of surgery, I was joking with the doctors and nurses and I did not feel a bit of pain. It was a miracle straight from God.
Oh i was worn out and tired, I still am but I am getting stronger everyday.

The moral of the story, when you go into something seeking to please God, He pleases you more.
I was invited just when I arrived to preach in one of our supporting Churches. I am hoping to visit the rest of them before I return. God is Good!

PBC is doing well without us which is both joyful and sad. Joyful that they are getting along, sad because I want to make them get along. God shows us that we need Him not us to make things work.
My nephew Nickie Plaza is doing a great job and although we have a good friend willing to supply our pulpit, I am just so glad that I have someone who can step up when I am not around.
The Church had its VBS when we were gone and my daughters along with the rest of the Church, carried it off well.
A Special mention of the great nurses and Doctors and Chaplains of Temecula Valley Hospital. I could give it no higher praises.

Chaplain Michael, my friend. He was a blessing to me.
