Here we go again

Thinking about what we did in January got me to thinking what we have done the last sixteen years. I have to say Satan hurled all he could at us when we started to prepare for this mission field. I won’t go into great detail but we met with much opposition from those you would not expect to receive it from. Our sucess is their rebuke.
Coming to the Philippines with a budget of $550 per month was also a hardship but it was a good one because it taught us more about faith then we could have without it. It took a while but it helped us develop our faith that led us to this beautiful ministry.
It still is tough as increases in the cost of living, food prices. living expenses in general have all gone up while income, pretty much remains the same. We lost some, gained some and of course got a raise in my Social Security as the economy is bad.
Yet the ministry still and always gives us joy and the accomplishments are many.
With just our doorknocking, two by two and visitation ministries we have reached thousands with the Gospel. Where are they now? Who knows. Our job is to preach the Gospel and teach it to good men who will teach it to good men. We have a few that have now Churches of their own, doing what we do, spreading the Gospel and reaching thousands.
We have taught young children, along with the Bible, their academic subjects. We supplemented their work when they were in school and we took the whole thing over during covid when they could not attend.
We also taught music to almost everyone. It was never mandatory but most wanted to learn. We understood some years back that those who learn music do better in their studies and increases graduation from college by 50%. We also found out that it binds them together more as they enjoy Church together.
Church is not just a service and go home. We have all kinds of classes throughout the day up until our night service.
We also raise funds to send kids to good colleges so they can reach their goals. We have teachers. (one graduated and then passed her accredidation exam) A Mathemetician, an Engineer, a Piliot, a Violin Teacher, a Teacher of Filipino, and a Seaman…and more coming up.
Because of all of it we have good solid Christians who will have good careers and will continue the process of teaching and supporting others.
We have a continue to improving Payatas, thanks to you.
May all your goals in Church be to have Christian families whose entire lives are lived through the Church.

Our Sites
We’d Like to let you know that our web sites are updating. First, we moved from GoDaddy to Blue Host as it will be less expensive for us. That process is finished and all our sites are back online. We also will be updating each site, one by one as we can afford it. The first updated was SavePayatas.org
Here are a list of our sites:
Payatasmissionoutreach.org

So many of our boxes come from those who have seen our sites.
We gave out food packs and clothes to those who really need it. Our outreaches help to show the love of Jesus
It’s not too hard to give. I know it is easy to ignore. We are far away in a distant land and our only connection to home are our supporters. Click on the link above. If you can buy a starbucks you can give to the ministry. You just need to want to.
