The Vision

The following is the vision according to how God has laid it on my heart.

It was July 1999 when I first came to the Philippines. My wife, (Malou) and I were married and it was at that time that God had called me to this work. I went back to America and started preparing as seven years later; we were on the airplane, returning to the Philippines.

Our number one goal is to bring the message of salvation to the people of Payatas. We believe that without Jesus, there is no hope and Payatas is a place that needs hope. There are so many false religions that lead the flock astray and keep them in bondage to poverty and fear.

Jesus said in John 10:10 ” The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.”

We are here to present that Jesus.

Additionally, Jesus said that we are to feed His sheep. We believe that is not only a spiritual but a physical and a mental mandate. So our plan is to not only build a Church that can hold at least 1000 people, but build a school that can hold the same amount. We also want to build a medical clinic that can address the health needs of those who can not afford care. We also want to build dormitories for more missionaries to come to help, such as teachers and medical professionals.

Self-sufficiency is and should be everyones goal in a free society. Our plan is to obtain that goal by implementing a piggery, chicken farm and raising agricultural products all for resale. This way we can provide livelihoods and the experience of building a business while at the same time, helping the organization to achieve self-sufficiency also. Yes, it is quite a vision for our humble beginnings but there is nothing impossible for God.

Please join with us in prayer and financial support as we push forward to turn Payatas around to be a place where Jesus is Lord and lives are changed.

When you donate, 100% goes to helping the people here.Help us to multiply our effort as you join with us. Thank you and may God bless you as you bless others. http://www.donatephilippines.com
