JANUARY 2025 UPDATE
December 30, 2024What do you know about Missionaries?
A missionary, (should be) called by God. When I was in Manila to marry my wife I felt God telling me that I would return to be a missionary.
That was weird, as I had no desire to live in Asia and, other than my wife, I had no inclination towards other Filipinos. The Holy Spirit gave me a love for them and a desire to return.
Most missionaries do not know how they will get there.
However, as we are led by God, our path becomes obvious and supplied.
A Missionary is an entire family.
My wife and my children from their youngest age have given their lives to the Lord. So you got four for the price of one.
A Missionary is supported by people used by God.
We are so grateful to those who have listened to God and gave what they could to this mission. They are truly a reason why we are so successful.
A Missionaries’ main goal is to spread the Gospel to as many as we can. We have given the Gospel to thousands upon thousands in these past 18 years, as well as so many other things that show Jesus to others.
We have given a written email newsletter every single month starting when we arrived in July 2006. As a matter of fact, this email is one way we do it. Unfortunately, we see every month that only 20% more or less read our email and less than that give to this ministry. I don’t know why. You signed up for it yet you ignore it.
If you are not interested, please unsubscribe as you take away resources that others could have. No hard feelings.

Our twenty-year plan continues to bear fruit!
We already had one college graduate and now we have the second. Kyle Rubinos left last night for OJT on a ship. It is a one-year paid plan that will enable him the ability to work on international ships. Our prayers and congratulations go out to Kyle.
We have two more students in their last year and 3 going into their last year with more coming up!
MY HEALTH
At what point do we go from speaking of our daily deeds to speaking about our ailments? Well, I guess I’m there now.
The other night I could not breathe and had pains in my chest. I went to the hospital, and they said I had water on my heart and because of that my feet swelled, and it was very difficult to breathe. They prescribed diuretics, and so I went to my local doctor, and they first said I had heart failure. I read up on that, and it said most people with heart failure die within 5 years. Then he did an ECG and said I had a blockage. Well, from what I read, ECG’s can not determine a blockage but can suggest… So my doctor is a guesser. Anyway, he put me on blood thinners and I am breathing better and so on. I figure it is God who determines when we go so I will leave it to him. You can, however, pray!
Our new musical instruments are paying dividends.
Because of our generous supporters supplying new instruments to our musicians, we were able to train new musicians using the older instruments. And the mentoring goes on.
We mentor in everything from Biblical studies to academic, to music, and it is a method that works.
Please pray that we will have all our 20 year students graduate according to schedule. Also, I now have increased medical needs, including prescriptions and no medical coverage.
God bless!
