I just came across this long winded article about how Mary became the most powerful woman in the world.
Highly unlikely since she is mentioned so few times in the Bible. Of her it was referenced as, Matt. 28:1 “the other Mary, Mat_12:48 But he answered and said unto him that told him, Who is my mother? and who are my brethren? Certainly not a tone that would cause others to worship her let alone treat her as their leader.
Here is Mary acknowledging God (not as her mother but as one of low estate) Luk 1:46 And Mary said, My soul doth magnify the Lord,
Luk 1:47 And my spirit hath rejoiced in God my Saviour.
Luk 1:48 For he hath regarded the low estate of his handmaiden: for, behold, from henceforth all generations shall call me blessed.
She also said He was her Saviour.
Mary was a chosen vessel, chosen by God, to carry the only begotten Son of God to birth.

Yet, according to the convoluted reasoning of the catholic Church, Mary was the mother of God because Jesus is part of the God head. In that case, the Father would be her husband.

This belief system does not stem from Biblical sources, (You remember the Bible? The word of God.) Anyway, it stems from supposed miracles and appearances of Mary which is really funny because Jesus said, Joh 16:7 Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you.
Joh 16:8 And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment:

So my question is, did Mary take over the Holy Spirit’s job? The answer is obvious, of course not.

Catholics believe that Mary is a co-redemptrix with Christ. That she is the go between her son and us. The problem with that is there is no written contract in the Bible that gave her that job.

They say she was a perpetual virgin and when you show them the truth: Mary had four other sons, Joseph, James, Jude, and Simon. Because of the virgin birth, Joseph was not the father of Jesus so these were the half brothers of Jesus. The last three mentioned are not to be confused with those who were disciples of Jesus by the same name. Here are some passages where the other sons of Mary by Joseph are mentioned (Matt. 12:46; 13:55; Mark 6:3; John 2:12; 7:3, 5, 10; Acts 1:14; 1 Cor. 9:5; Gal. 1:19).
They would just rather believe their traditions (lies) than the truth. Even as the Bible commands: Col_2:8 Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ. They choose to believe a lie.
Even if they witnessed actual miracles, there have been so called miracles throughout time. The Budhists have miracles yet they don’t follow Jesus even though Jesus said: Joh 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

So, according to the Bible, Buddhists will not have eternal life with the Father because they do not go through Christ. There are so many more.

The Bible speaks about the Devil coming as an angel of light just to fool the masses. Did you think he had horns and screams obscenities? He will look like a beautiful woman in a garden or an angel figure in the sky.

Yet Catholics put themselves together with other religions to try to reinforce their beliefs.

Joining with Muslims and using their accursed book, combined with their accursed tradition they show themselves truly as they are. Here is a quote: “Muslims as well as Christians consider her to be holy above all women, and her name “Maryam” appears more often in the Koran than “Mary” does in the Bible. In the New Testament Mary speaks only four times, beginning with the Annunciation, when, according to Luke’s Gospel, the angel Gabriel appears to her and says she will bear “the Son of the Most High.” Mary answers, “Here am I, the servant of the Lord.” Her only extended speech, also in Luke, is the lyrical Magnificat, uttered in early pregnancy: “My soul magnifies the Lord, and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior, for he has looked with favor on the lowliness of his servant. Surely, from now on all generations will call me blessed.”
When you use evil to support your claims, you are evil yourself.
From the Bible: Act 16:16 And it came to pass, as we went to prayer, a certain damsel possessed with a spirit of divination met us, which brought her masters much gain by soothsaying:
Act 16:17 The same followed Paul and us, and cried, saying, These men are the servants of the most high God, which shew unto us the way of salvation.
Act 16:18 And this did she many days. But Paul, being grieved, turned and said to the spirit, I command thee in the name of Jesus Christ to come out of her. And he came out the same hour.

Paul would not allow the testimony of this possessed girl to mar his testimony even that she was truthful.

Did you notice, Mary only spoke a couple of times and said little? No where will you see the term “Mother of God” in the Bible. If Mary is the mother of god than her mother was the grandmother of god and exponentially backward speaking, Adam and Eve would have created God. Such foolishness people believe and won’t change because their parents believed and it is a family thing. These people, if they do not leave their false god and family will suffer hell for all eternity.

This author says, “Her life is picked up from hearsay.” He said don’t expect us to know these things. Why not? We know more about Mary Magdalene than your “mother of god?”

The author quotes,” Because so little is known of Mary from Scripture, “you can project on her whatever cultural values you have,” says Amy-Jill Levine, a professor of New Testament and Jewish studies at Vanderbilt University.”

So , just as you have created god in your own image, you can also do the same with Mary. This is a Catholic holy kit. You can get your holy water from the sink and pretend Mary is curing all your ills.

These people have literally replaced God the father, son and Holy Spirit with Mary which is blasphemy.

The author’s own words–Mary has many faces. In Haiti she’s Ezili Dantò—the Black Madonna. A fierce mother figure as well as a goddess, Ezili has been a revered Vodou spirit since the Haitian Revolution. Here dancers prepare for a midnight ceremony in her honor.

So they bring voodoo into Catholicism. It’s true, we all have heard of Santaria.

I cannot continue as this is too long and the lies and deceptions of this article seem to go on and on. Let me close with this:

A young boy in the Deir al Adra monastery reaches up to touch a painted image of Mary. In the Koran, Maryam (Mary) is the holiest woman mentioned. “So the Virgin Mary is not at all strange to Muslims,” says Roten. “In fact, wherever there is a connection between Christians and Muslims—or any two groups that know and love her—there is a common value in the covenant mother.”

Imagine comparing the devil religion to your own? If Mary was in a Muslim territory she would be abused, possibly raped and if she claimed to be a virgin and had a child, beheaded.

Believe what you want but read the bible and find the truth.
