The good news is you don’t have to!  They both will be going!

We made our goal. Anything else that comes in will go for other projects.

So far we have raised  $973.00 for “Christmas for the Payatas Kids.”

This
will be held at the Church here in Payatas on DECEMBER 12.

We plan to give them a Christmas meal complete with desert. We will be
telling them the real story of Christmas and we will also be giving
them a pair of shorts, a t shirt and a pair of sneakers along with a
toy. We have reached our goal of serving 100 kids from the area thanks
to you. 

 THIRD ANNIVERSARY

Our
3rd Anniversary was a huge success. With somewhere around 200 guests in
and out throughout the day, we had one packed building. It reminds us
to ask you to pray that God may give us larger quarters. We take the
work here very seriously. Pray that we will have renewed strength to
continue in this important work.Our theme was upon this Rock as Jesus
has been our sure foundation from the beginning.

 Homeless Missionaries?

We
have been living for the past three and a half years in my
Sister-in-law’s home. We have been blessed with it being rent free.
Like the saying goes, “All good things must come to an end” it applies
now to us.

Good thing
the Bible says,  Rom 8:28 ” And we know that all things work together
for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to
his purpose. “

We were informed that we must be out of the house by March when her son ,wife and newborn baby will take the place over.

We certainly appreciated her generosity but now we are faced with a problem. We need to rent a place to live.

We
ask you to pray for our situation as the only thing we can afford, I
would be afraid to move into , especially with my family.

As
most of you know, we only receive approximately $1,000 per month
support and most of that supports the Church. Payatas is a place of
poverty so our collections here are minimal.

Not
only will we need to move but we will also need Furniture,
Kitchenware,Living Room Bedrooms as all the assesories were hers also.

 OUR NEW MEDICAL CLINIC

Payatas
Baptist Healthcare, Inc. will be the name of our new medical clinic. We
will be filing the Corporation papers with the S.E.C. Next week and we
are still waiting for about $500 in funds to make the necessary
alterations and to buy some medicines.

This
will be wonderful as we always wanted a clinic near the Church where we
can counsel in the Lord and give free medical check-ups with low cost
meds.

 A Word to our Friends

It
seems we always ask for you to get involved with giving. The truth is,
without you, there would be no ministry. God has put into the hearts of
many of you to share your blessings so we can make a difference here in
Payatas.

In the three and a half years we have been here, we have never lived “high on the hog” but have maintained a humble lifestyle.

We
have no car, no stove, no hot water, many of the things that are taken
for granted in the first world are options here, only if you have the
money. We don’t. 

If  you can look at the photo pages of over 4,000 photographs, If you can read the monthly updates we have written since the day we got off the plane, you will see what we have been doing here by the grace of God.

If

Pastors and introduce our ministry to them.

It
certainly looks like  we will be needing at least a few thousand
dollars just to furnish a place and then we need the monthly expenses.
