As 2023 goes out and 2024 comes in we can’t help to think of the future. We can hope to get a new car or a house. Maybe our kids are starting school or are finishing. Perhaps a long-awaited vacation is what we are looking forward to.
That one is what I want. Not the kind where you go to the mountains or the beach but the one where the rapture snatches us up into the hands of God!
All the signs are there. Israel is under attack, China and Russia are starting an alliance. Threats of nuclear bombs by North Korea. Also, the Euphrates River is almost dried up. Remember, the kings of the east will cross it to fight Israel.
I pray all who reads this update is prepared to go. It’s something to which we can look forward.
Thanks to some of you the PBC 100 kids Christmas party was a huge success. Best one ever! The kids got to hear who Jesus Christ is and how to be saved. They enjoyed a great meal, dessert, clothes, footwear and toys. They also played games and won prizes.
CHRISTMAS CAROLING
The young adults and young people caroled through the streets of Payatas on December 18, 19, 21 & 22
The people loved their music as we had violins, ukuleles, beat box, guitars, flute.
Hot chocolate and cookies made the night!
Christmas Party for PBC Adults -Dec.24
There was food, games and prizes. We all had a blast!
Food Packs were sent by Ptr Abrot of our home Church to give out to our children to bring home. Also, more food packs were given by our good friends in Canada to give out to the community.
BOX MINISTRY
So many of these people need these clothes and are so happy to receive them.
It is more blessed to give than to receive.
We keep feeding the kids and they keep eating! Where do they put it all?
My NEED!
For two years I have been going to Diliman Doctor’s Hospital for treatment of Glaucoma. Two doctors took tests and said that’s what I had. I decided to go to East Avenue Hospital and the doctor there was wonderful. He ran all kinds of tests and then took me to look at the photos on his computer. He showed me where the lens was broken and crooked and where the liquid went in front of the lens, causing blurriness. That’s the good news, I don’t have glaucoma. The bad news is it will take a three-hour-long operation to be repaired at a cost of $2,000 dollars.
Please pray that God will meet that need, so I can see clearly again.
GOD BLESS YOU ALL AND A HAPPY AND PROSPEROUS NEW YEAR TO YOU ALL!
