Word From the Pastor

Let’s review: We all sinned in Adam therefore we are all sinners. We have been condemned to an eternity in Hell and the Lake of Fire. Are you with me so far? Okay, here is some good news. GOD LOVES YOU!  Your thinking, “Yeah, so much that I am going to burn forever.” The truth is that God does not want you to burn. It is your decision. Now you might say, “Yeah right, like anyone would decide to go to hell”. The truth is, many do. Many choose not to take the way out that God has made for them and die in their sins and will be cast into the lake of fire. I hope that you’re not one of them. Okay, let’s get to getting you saved from all this.

Like I said, God loves you and made a way of escape. How He did it was like this: God became a man, (actually born a baby in Bethlehem.) He grew up and lived a perfect sinless life. When He was thirty He started His preaching/teaching ministry. When He was thirty three He allowed the Jewish leaders to imprison Him and turn Him over to the Romans. He was slapped, spit on, had a crown of two inch thorns pushed into His head. He was whipped with a whip made of jagged metal and bone until His back looked like rubber bands of shredded meat. He was nailed, wrists and feet to a cross and for six hours He spent His time pushing Himself up to alleviate the pressure on His lungs to take a breath and then collapsing from the pain. HE DID ALL THIS TO PAY FOR YOUR SINS!

So we know we are sinners and you probably figured out by now that you could never pay for your sins.

Imagine, Jesus said if you even look at a woman with lust you committed the sin. So what do you do? Do you offer God some money to forget about it? God doesn’t use money and if He did, you or the richest person in the world could not pay. Jesus paid it all!

The Bible says He who believes in the Lord Jesus will be saved but it also says the devil believes and trembles. That is because he knows where he is headed. (Hell, with you if you don’t get saved)

“So then tell me, HOW DO I GET SAVED?

Okay, I will tell you now but don’t do anything dangerous until you finish reading this. We wouldn’t want you to end up in the wrong place!
