Recently we had to pull out of the medical clinic that was so instrumental in leading hundreds to Christ. As the Bible tells us, some had crept in and began to do things that was not acceptable to myself or the other Pastors that were involved with us. So we decided that to pull out to keep the cause of Christ from being trampled. We have been looking for another site to set up a clinic that would be ours exclusively. We have a doctor and staff ready to go along with the equipment needed but it will cost us roughly $1000 for start up fees. this would include rent, security, electric, water and setting up the building for a clinic. It is a brand new building in a great location near the Church. Please pray that we can get the resources before the building is rented.

THIS MONTH IN PAYATAS.

HERITAGE BAPTIST CHURCH, CAVITE

Last week I was honored as the guest speaker for Heritage Baptist Church’s

World Mission Conference. After speaking I was informed by Pastor Legaspina that he was taking our Church on for support. We had a wonderful time of fellowship after the service with the Legaspina family.

Many missionaries go back to their originating Country to gain more support yet God has given us more than once, people that have taken us on while we are here.Please pray that more will see the things being done here in Payatas and will join with us with their prayers and financial support.

 CHICK TRACTS

We received some Chick Tracts from the States and our children took them into the local schools. The kids love them and they pass them around to their friends. They get used over and over again. Our prayer is many will receive the word through those tracts. Our Church children , along with our adults, love to proclaim the Gospel of Christ every Saturaday as well as on their own during the week.

BIBLES

  We have received more Bibles from Beams. It is such a help for those newly saved, to be able to present them with their own first Bible.

BIBLE CLASS IN LOCAL SCHOOL

We approached the local school superintendant with a Bible curriculum that we want to present to the children each week. I am happy to say it has been approved and our youth Pastor is now working out a schedule with the local principal for the dates.

The ABS-CBN Television Network approached me for some stories of local people that are in need of help. This will possibly lead to exposure for our ministry (as it will be an international viewing) as well as creating more help for those in need here in Payatas.

 LIVELIHOOD PROGRAMS:

We have been able to sell some of our handmade Christmas ornaments and some of our people have been training to be call center agents.

 FAMILY NEWS:

Laura is quickly closing out her fourth grade studies and will soon be looking to start the fifth grade. We are so proud of her. She enjoys studying and loves Math and Science as her best subject. Definitely does not take after Dad!

She has also been getting lessons from our youth Pastor and is starting to play the organ.
